Why This Matters to Us
Behind Peak Performance HR is my own journey, one shaped by change, growth, and the very self‑doubt many leaders quietly carry.
I’ve changed careers several times: from teaching, to recruitment, to HR across the private, public, and charity sectors. Each transition brought new challenges, new learning, and moments of imposter syndrome and self‑doubt.
I understand what it feels like to be ambitious and conscientious, yet still question yourself. To care deeply about people, but worry whether you’re “getting it right.” To lead with heart, but sometimes feel like you’re carrying everything alone.
That’s why we do this work.

About Jessica Cox

HR Specialist • Leadership Coach • Wellbeing Practitioner
Helping leaders grow with confidence, clarity and calm.
Hi, I’m Jess, Founder and Director of Peak Performance HR. My journey began with a passion for understanding people and creating positive work environments. With a background in teaching, a CIPD-accredited Level 7 qualification in Human Resource Management, and years of experience in coaching and HR, I bring a unique blend of expertise to leadership and career development.
I’ve worked across sectors and seen first-hand how the right support can unlock potential, not just in individuals, but in entire organisations. That insight inspired me to launch Peak Performance HR in 2018, with a mission to make HR and coaching less about compliance and more about people, wellbeing, and impact.
I coach individuals and lead workshops for people at different stages of life and, with diverse needs, including those returning to work after a career break, neurodivergent professionals, and parents navigating life transitions, so every session is thoughtfully tailored to meet your unique needs, strengths, and circumstances.
